The Fiesta Police Division is responsible for an area of 15.68 square miles with a population of 105,280 residents. The officers respond to approximately 4,000 calls for service each month and exceed department goals for proactive patrol and community policing. A dedicated crime prevention officer works with local businesses, rental properties, and the community to address crime and nuisance issues.

Veterans Program: The Mesa Police Department is an authorized partner of the Department of Defense SkillBridge program, which allows active-duty service members nearing the end of their service to work in day-to-day operations and gain exposure to a career in law enforcement.
Information for Veterans & Families: The Mesa Vet Center offers confidential counseling for veterans, service members, and their families to address issues such as depression, PTSD, and military sexual trauma. The center can also provide education and referrals for VA medical benefits, education benefits, home loans, and other resources.
