Mesa Police Department Superstition Police Division

The Superstition Patrol Division is located in the eastern part of Mesa, Arizona, covering about 73.14 square miles. It serves one of the fastest-growing areas in the city with a population of approximately 178,225 as of 2023. The division has 145 sworn Patrol Officers and 14 civilian support staff. It also includes a Criminal Investigation Unit, a Street Crimes squad, and a Community Action Officer. A crime prevention officer works with local businesses and the community to address crime and nuisance problems.

- Veterans Program: The Mesa Police Department is an authorized partner of the Department of Defense SkillBridge program, which allows active-duty service members nearing the end of their service to work in day-to-day operations and gain exposure to a career in law enforcement.
